We are currently looking for a Sushi Chef - Team Leader to join the team at Pirie Street - Adelaide!

About the role:

• Leading a team who will produce a range of Sushi Products
• Manage, lead and train a diverse team
• Managing the Back of house operations and sushi production
• Ensure Sushi Sushi policies and procedures are followed
• Compliance of the Food Safety and Safety standards
• Cash and stock control including cost of goods (COGS)
• Represent Sushi Sushi to the highest degree of professionalism

Applicant must have:

• 1-2 years prior experience as a chef preferred
• Strong hospitality experience in kitchen and BOH operations
• Previous Sushi production experience preferred
• Experience Leading a team
• Knowledge and experience of complying to food safety requirements and standards
• A passion for delivering the highest quality product and service
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work weekends
• Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability essential
