    We are looking for someone with professional office administration experience in either a Small to Medium-sized Accounting Practice, Legal Practice, or similar professional firm.
    Experience with the full suite Xero would be highly regarded. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook. A good understanding of accounting and tax terms along with experience with ATO Portal and ASIC would be ideal. The opportunity also exists for the right candidate to take on some tax bookkeeping, payroll and in the longer term to move across into more of a tax accountant/bookkeeper role if desired.

    Key Responsibilities
    · Provide support in accounting (data entry and bookkeeping)
    · Accounts payable and receivable processing
    · Bank, credit card weekly & monthly reconciliation
    · BAS and IAS
    · Payroll and Superannuation
    · Property development-related attributes
    · General accounts and administrative
    · General office duties
    Candidate requirements:
    · Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance
    · At least 1-2 years’ experience in an accounts assistant type role
    · In-depth XERO knowledge and experience
    · Commenced either the CPA or CA ANZ Programs
    · Excellent verbal & written communication skills
    · Ability to work autonomously.
    · Initiative to identify problems and find solutions.
    · High level of accuracy
    · Microsoft Office (Excel / Word) knowledge essential
    · Excellent time management and organizational skills
    · Must be able to work independently.
    The successful applicant will have the following qualities:
    · Strong analytical system skills - fully conversant with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
    · Ability to interpret recording and licensing agreements, and extract relevant accounting and business points from the document(s)
    · Strong organizational skills due to a high volume of paperwork
    · Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining focused on workload objectives
    · Capable of undertaking long periods of data entry whilst remaining alert to potential documentation problems and input errors
    · You have an impeccable eye for detail, outstanding administration and organization.
    · Team player and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment.
